An enema bag (such as the Artsana enema bag) is used in administering a lower bowel flush, typically lying down in a knee bent position. The liquid is gravity fed. For evacuation, the tip is removed and the fluid is expelled into the toilet. The procedure is repeated as necessary. The kit is small, portable and economical, typically less than £15 to buy. If you purchase additional enema kit tips and taps more than one person in the family can use the bag provided strict rules of hygiene are followed.

Colema Boards®
If professional colonics are unavailable or you choose not to go to a professional therapist then the Colema Board® is affordable and available for repeated use at home whenever you choose.
The Colema Board® requires an initial outlay of about £370 but is well worth the investment if you feel this form of convenient home colonic would be a regular part of your health and well-being lifestyle. If you purchase additional Colema tips more than one person in the family can use the Colema Board® provided strict rules of hygiene are followed. Prices for the board fluctuates because on top of the charges we pay to Colema Boards themselves, we also pay additional fees to import and duty/vat on top. We try to keep the price competitive.
The Colema Board system is designed to flush the lower and upper colon with the ease of a one-time rectal insertion and continuous evacuations without removal of the tip. The water goes into the rectum via the plastic tube, the waste matter is evacuated around the outside of the tip and down into the toilet bowl. The tip is only about 1 cm in diameter. So, by utilizing a 5 gallon bucket, water and/or a solution the liquid is dispensed at will and without getting off the board to expel. Any evacuation material will fall into the toilet through the opening beneath the domed splashguard of the board. This procedure usually takes from 1/2 hour to 1 hour to exhaust a 5 gallon container.

Professional Colonics
Professional colonic systems vary, however, most will flush the colon quickly using water pressure. The therapist may use massage on the abdomen for better results. You may need to fill out a simple health questionnaire and chat through your health concerns with the therapist. Your privacy is respected at all times.
